It has a sort of charm that leaves you feeling lighter and cheered up – and even inspires applause in the theater. And it was so wonderful to see several moms and young daughters there so those little girls can grow up knowing what we never got to know until now.
I left this movie feeling like I’ve been lied to for 40 years – like we’ve been betrayed somehow. Why are we just hearing about these women now? I’ve seen space movies for my entire life and nobody wanted to mention the women who helped put the US up there? To paraphrase Armageddon, “talk about the wrong stuff.”
