John Wick Chapter 2: Review

I had such high hopes for John Wick: Chapter 2 – the first one had been a surprisingly stylish action confection triggered by a dead puppy of a former assassin. It offered up something to look at, peppered in enough humor and sustained a very high body count. Pure mindless entertainment.

But this entry into what I have to assume will be a trilogy lacks that same charm. John Wick 2 has all the visual swagger and style of the first one including a sleek, chic Ruby Rose as a killer after our hero and bodyguard Common in a few good suits, but not the same je ne sais quoi.

Really, really short review: Nah.
