New on Netflix: Master of None

We welcome back Master of None, Aziz Ansari’s charming series on Netflix for it’s second season by starting off where we left off: Dev is in Italy learning to make pasta and having more somewhat silly adventures now in black and white and Italian. He meets a cute girl, easts some fantastic food, gets his phone stolen (with said girl’s number in it) all in variations of Italian and subtitles. Master of None has always been innocuous entertainment: surface level and a fun distraction from the tough stuff going on in real life. And, for that, I am truly grateful.

Really, really short review: fun and entertaining fare but don’t watch hungry.
