New on HBO in February 2018

Alan Ball (Six Feet Under, True Blood) delivers his third project for HBO with Here and Now, a provocative and darkly comic meditation on the disparate forces polarizing present-day American culture – or so they say. Tim Robbins and Holly Hunter star.  Anna Deavere Smith’s 2015 one-woman show also comes to HBO in February. Her examination of America’s school-to-prison pipeline travels from Maryland to South Carolina to California to Pennsylvania with Deavere Smith playing historical figures like John Lewis and James Baldwin.
